Studies in Serendipity
The term 'serendipity' is in general used for accidental discoveries in science and connected to the arts of finding something unexpected. It very well describes what The RotTT does with experimental set-ups in sound & vision.
Okay, results are sometimes, err, a little chaotic. That might be the price to pay when using aleatoric parameters. Whilst most of the time there is a hilarious outcome, funny, taking, sometimes even lyrical and, most important, NOT BORING.
At m12 The RotTT will try to reach a new level in rottting. Studies in Serendipity include the concept of a parttime responsibility, by giving each of the project members a temporary conductor-job, thus to tame the rottten beast and to return the think thing in a structured gig.
In celebration of the International Women's Day metaconductors of the evening will be visually Maria-Leena Räihälä, musically Iwanka Skrivanek.
Be welcomed on Thursday, March 8 2007 at m12, from 10 pm, Karl-Liebknecht-Str. 13 - 1st Floor, Berlin-Alexanderplatz.
rottt on and think as you never thought before
